China

Well, my family is asleep and I am staying awake so I can prepare my body for the China time zone.  The good people over there are 15 hours ahead of us so it is 2:30 tomorrow afternoon as I write and they will be going to bed about the time I get to the airport tomorrow.  I am all packed and ready to go, and really looking forward to this trip.  We will have the wonderful opportunity to be fulfilling 2 Timothy 2:2 -- committing to faithful men the words of truth, who will in turn, will be able to teach others also.  The work in China is the closest I will ever come to first century preaching and I am privileged to be able to participate because of the generosity of so many, both here in Bremerton and elsewhere.  I pray that God will bless our work, keep us safe, and that the truth may have an impact for good for many more people than we will ever see.  Your prayers are very much appreciated...
